Alka Tomar is a wrestler from India.[5] & who is from the Uttar Pradesh village of Sisauli. She won the bronze medal in wrestling (59 kg freestyle) at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, becoming the nation's top female wrestler.[7] At the 2006 Senior Wrestling Championships in Guangzhou, China, Alka Tomar also won bronze.
She also took home a gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, when she faced off against Canadian Tonya Verbeek.
Alka was born to Nain Singh Tomar and Munni Devi in the Uttar Pradesh village of Sisauli.
